The premiere of the third generation car took place on August 29, 2017 at a special show in Stuttgart - compared to its predecessor, it slightly changed in appearance, received a more powerful engine, and in general it became better in all respects.

The easiest way to distinguish the Porsche Cayenne S from the standard "brother" is from the rear - it is issued by four "large-caliber barrels" of the exhaust system and the S-emblem.

The rest of the five-door looks no less beautiful, energetic and noble, instantly attracting attention in the city traffic.

"Esca" has the following dimensions: 4918 mm in length, 1696 mm in height and 1983 mm in width. A 2895 mm wheelbase fits between the wheelsets of the car. The curb weight of the SUV is 2020 kg, and its gross weight is 2840 kg.

The interior of the “third” Porsche Cayenne S is completely identical to that of the base model - a striking design with a 12.3-inch “monitor” of the multimedia system in the main role, impeccable ergonomics, exclusively premium materials and high quality workmanship.

The SUV's cabin (as is the case with the standard "brother") can seat five adults (including the driver), and the capacity of its cargo compartment varies from 770 to 1710 liters, depending on the position of the "gallery".

The "heart" of the third incarnation of the Porsche Cayenne S is a 2.9-petrol V6 engine with two turbochargers, an intercooler, a direct feed system, variable valve timing and brake energy recirculation technology, producing 440 horsepower at 5700-6600 rpm and 550 N • m of peak torque at 1800-5500 rpm.

It splits with an 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive transmission with a multi-plate clutch that activates the front wheels.

The maximum car is able to reach 265 km / h, changing the second "hundred" in 5.2 seconds (with the Sport Chrono complex - in 4.9 seconds).

Its fuel consumption does not exceed 9.4 liters for every 100 km of run in combined driving conditions.

From a technical point of view, the Porsche Cayenne S does not differ much from the base model - it is based on the MLB Evo "bogie" with independent aluminum suspension "in a circle" (front - double wishbone, rear - multi-link) and adaptive electromechanical power steering.

In the “base” the car is equipped with ventilated brake discs on all wheels with six-piston calipers on the front axle and four-piston calipers on the rear (the dimensions of the “pancakes” are 390 mm and 330 mm, respectively) and electronically controlled PASM shock absorbers.

In the Russian market, the third "edition" of the Porsche Cayenne S in 2018 is offered at a price of 6,521,000 rubles.

Nominally, the SUV "flaunts": eight airbags, ABS, ESP, a multimedia center, a Hi-Fi audio system with ten speakers, 19-inch wheels, a dual-zone "climate", a downhill assist system, engine start from a button, full LED optics , electric and heated front seats, servo-driven fifth door, leather trim and "darkness" of other equipment.

In addition, the widest list of additional options is announced for the five-door.
